11. Service Announcements and Customer Service

On occasion it is necessary to send out service related announcements. For instance, if the site or any of the services is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications without also deactivating their account and ceasing use of the services. These communications are not promotional in nature.
